Ischia - A Day Trip From Naples

About an hour away by hydrofoil, this island has about 60,000 permanent inhabitants. It is a resort destination due to the hot springs of volcanic origin. we had no time to soak due to what we thought was our opera back in Naples. But we did explore the long main shopping street, ride a taxi a quarter of the way around the lovely coast of the island and have a good lunch in the town of Forio.
