Bonus - The Metro Stations of Naples

Naples has two Metro lines. The stations of Line 1 are newer, completed in 2012 and are impressive works of art and architecture. They use a lot of mosaic. Line 2 is older and shabbier. Rush hour is still rush hour. Trains did not run as frequently as in New York. The lines are very deep underground. The platforms and the trains themselves are not extraordinary. And the signage directing travelers leaves a lot to be desired. But definitely worth seeing. Some of the newer stations are already showing signs of deterioration and graffiti.
