Food Gallery

 Lunch at the Geranium restaurant

on our last full day

in Copenhagen was very much like

eating an art exhibit. Here's proof:

I don't have a copy of the menu

so I am relying on  my faulty memory.

UPDATE: Emma found the menu, so I put it in

brackets after my first caption.

We were happy to get bread. Some of the high-end
places have done away with that staple.

Edible simulation of a razor clamshell
filled with a creamy something.... A genuine
artwork. Might have been even greater if
clam was inside.

  1. Those dishes are beautiful. In fact, the only legitimate criticism that I can think of, in appraising them, is that they are excessively dandified and contrived; overly ostentatious in presentation. But, this is what is expected at a three-star Michelin-rated restaurant, I suppose.

  2. What's with the mousse shaped like a human skull? Seems a tad macabre and bizarre, LOL.
