My Number One favorite was the Dung Beetle, a mighty creature who collects shit, forms it into a perfect, giant ball, many times its own size, rolls it to a good spot, buries it, lays eggs in it to perpetuate the species with a generous supply of food. Its movement of the ball with its hind legs was the single most impressive physical act I saw, surpassing even the leopard taking an impala carcass up into a tree.

My Favorite Creature
Certainly not one of the so-called "Big Five" - Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino or Water Buffalo. And not the Giraffe, Impala, Eland or Hyena.
