The drive from Hue to Hoi An was scenic in parts, particularly going through some mountains, passing a lake with oyster farms and a short stop at a beach.

DaNang Museum of Cham Sculpture
How can you not like people who used the breast form as a decorative motif on temples? See, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Champa/
Emma's research had spotted the Museum of Cham Sculpture in DaNang, a town we passed through twenty minutes before Hoi An. It was a great stop. The sculpture we saw was outstanding. Across from the museum we saw the very enjoyable transformation of a suspension bridge into a dragon.
